Experienced Litigation Solicitor
I have worked mainly as a locum or self-employed (for income tax and NI) interim/contracted solicitor since 2002.
I have worked in many firms in roles ranging from just a few weeks holiday cover to those longer than two years.
I am adept at taking taking on existing caseloads with minimal lead-in time, understanding the firm’s procedures, and progressing clients claims to resolution.
My foundation is claimant personal injury litigation. I’ve adapted to changes in the Civil Procedure Rules and those provisions for applications which assist the client where difficult issues of liability, evidence or complex questions of causation and quantum are involved.
I handle Fast Track, Intermediate Track and Multi-Track claims.
I have experience also in low-value injury claims within the Claims Portal Ltd app, and issuing and defending claims in the court’s Damages Claims Portal.
Alongside this I undertake a range of civil litigation and dispute resolution work.
